PHILANTHROPY 1A

Are you looking to add meaning to your life?  Are you feeling like it’s time to consider how you can make a difference in this world of ours?

Susie Franklin, president and founder of The Franklin Legacy Fund, is pleased to announce a new consulting service for those interested in learning about effective, strategic philanthropy.

This program, called PHILANTHROPY 101, is designed to help donors create a strategic direction for their giving, make thoughtful selections of organizations to support, and explore ways to leverage the power of donations with tools such as challenge grants or restricted giving.

PHILANTHROPY 101 is customized to the needs and interests of each participant.  As with all programs of the FRANKLIN LEGACY FUND, our services are offered free to charge.

For more information, email sfranklin@franklinlegacyfund.org or call 831-206-7366

2018 Project Updates & News

VISIONING ALUMNI LUNCHEON:  We had a great lunch with about 20 of our past visioning participants.  We learned a lot and will be taking steps to improve our visioning process.  And, we've started a Google Hangout to create a robust online community for our alumni.
GATHERING FOR WOMEN:  We are proud to have been part of the launch of the new Service Center for Gathering For Women in Monterey, CA.  They opened formally on July 12th and their website, which was a digital grant from FLF, was ready for the launch as well.  You can see the new website at www.gatheringforwomen.org

CAMP NEWMAN RECONSTRUCTION
We are supporting this amazing camp in their rebuilding after the devastating loss of their original facilities in a fire early in 2018.

Check out their website to see all they are doing in their temporary location.

MEARTH  Educating & Inspiring Through Environmental
We have given this amazing organization a digital grant so they can complete a communications audit, a brand strategy and marketing plan, and develop an event promotional strategy for their 10 year anniversary event coming up in December of 2018.

RESTORATIVE JUSTICE PARTNERS INC. (RJP), our second Sustainability Recipient (Jan. 2017), brings victims, offenders, families and other key stakeholders together in a process to help offenders understand the implications of their actions and provide the victim a voice in the restitution. In a restorative justice process, the person who has done harm takes responsibility for their actions and the person who has been harmed can take a central role in the process.

RJP was given a digital grant to develop a new website.  Check out RestorativeJusticePartners.org.

SPECTORDANCE:  After working with this amazing dance organization, we have helped them launch with a new vision and a new website and social media marketing plan.  We've trained their staff to take care of the digital assets and are providing support only when they need it now.  Congratulations SpectorDance.
